To confirm your booking, we typically require a 50% advance payment upfront. For luxury accommodations like Taj Hotels or Oberoi Hotels, this may increase to 75% to secure peak-season availability and special rates.

The balance—50% or 25%, depending on your package—can be settled conveniently via credit card during your journey through India, allowing you to focus on the adventure ahead.

Understanding Retention Charges

Once we receive your advance, our team springs into action, procuring non-refundable domestic flight tickets, train reservations, and national park safari permits to lock in the best options for you. These are time-sensitive bookings that airlines, railways, and park authorities don’t reverse, so we apply retention charges to cover these commitments if travel plans change.

• 45+ days before arrival: We’ll retain 25% of your total package cost, plus the full value of any domestic tickets, train tickets, and safari bookings.

• Closer to your travel date: Charges escalate proportionally to reflect our upfront investments and limited rebooking windows.

This policy adapts to high-demand periods, such as Christmas, New Year, major Indian festivals (like Diwali or Holi), or international conferences, where availability tightens and third-party costs surge. We’ll always provide a customized quote upfront, detailing these timelines based on your exact dates.
